My room at the InterContinental Changsha.
In Changsha I stayed at the InterContinental. After long days at the food expo, meetings and walking the city, this was my base.
The Room and the View
Stylish and top level in every detail. A proper desk to work at and a really good shower. There was a bathtub too and I used it.
From my window I saw the high-rises light up together like one big show, with water in between. I could have watched it all evening.
Breakfast, a Bath and a Burger
Super good breakfast with a lot of local food. Back in Europe noodles aren't my breakfast. Here they were.
One evening I filled the tub and got a burger sent up from room service. Best end to a long day.
Location and Next Time
The hotel is on Xiangjiang North Road in Kaifu District, right by the Xiang River.
I didn't have time for the rooftop restaurant or the park next door with its art gallery. Both are on the list for next time.
